I have a patient with an abdominal mesh from 20 years ago for a diastasis repair. The mesh goes from xyphoid down to pubic bones, about 3 inches wide from midline. My main question is how to safely work around this area when I am getting listenings and extended listenings underneath and deep to the mesh as if the body wants help there.
