I'm curious from personal experience and experience with clients: is there an area of the body that you've seen most affected by the consumption of gluten when they can't process it well (either celiac or gluten intolerance)? I remember reading a research paper years ago about the cecum and IC valve being affected, but can't seem to find it any more. I see a good amount of patients with issues in this area who also have gluten issues. I have been gluten-free myself for almost 15 years and if I accidentally consume gluten my cecum area will ache, even back into my R SI joint (also something I will see with patients). So I'm just curious on your thoughts please!
