Qualities for liver only (others to come soon)

Infectious/ Allergy Area - Right lateral attraction from xiphoid to farthest right side of liver (segments #6 and #7) a possible pronation of hand as liver attracts into parenchyma (about 20-70% from anterior) and a quality of perception of a dense mass-like structure at the end of the listening attraction. In order to inhibit you press over the ribs/ intercostal space directly anterior to the listening and “intend” to the depth of the attraction.

Emotional Area - Right lateral attraction from xiphoid to liver segments #5 and #8, a possible pronation of hand as liver attracts into parenchyma (about 20-70% from anterior) and a quality of perception of a dense mass-like structure at the end of the listening attraction. In order to inhibit you press over the ribs/ intercostal space directly anterior to the listening and “intend” to the depth of the attraction.

Metabolic Area - Slightly to right of xiphoid to liver segments #4 and #1, a possible supination of hand as liver attracts into parenchyma (about 20-70% from anterior) and a quality of perception of a dense mass-like structure at the end of the listening attraction. In order to inhibit you press over the ribs/ intercostal space directly anterior to the listening and “intend” to the depth of the attraction.

Falciform ligament - Slightly deep and inferior to xiphoid with slight clockwise rotation of palm and spreading of hand along horizontal orientation (about 20-50% from anterior) and a quality of perception of a flat, elastic structure at the end of the listening attraction. In order to inhibit you press over the ribs/ intercostal space directly anterior to the listening and “intend” to the depth of the attraction.

Hepatoduodenal ligament - At sternum the attraction is beyond the ribs and endothoracic fascia to about 20-50% deep Posterior, left side of sternum from anterior and a smooth, contour shape perception at the end of the listening attraction.

Hepatic artery - Deep and to anatomical right of xiphoid with slight clockwise rotation of palm (about 20-40% from anterior) and a quality of perception of subtle pulse at the end of the listening attraction. In order to inhibit you press inferior to ribs directly anterior to the listening and “intend” to the depth of the attraction.

Portal vein - Deep and 1-2cm to anatomical right of xiphoid with slight clockwise rotation of palm (about 30-50% from anterior) and a quality of perception of a collapsible tube-like structure at the end of the listening attraction. In order to inhibit you press inferior to ribs directly anterior to the listening and “intend” to the depth of the attraction.
